Chef Riany Mena grew up in the Dominican Republic where he developed a passion for vibrant flavors. He moved to the U.S. at 19 and worked his way up through the culinary world, learning from knowledgeable and skilled chefs along the way both in NYC and Boston. In 2023, he created Pataconia (Troy, NY) where he was able to show off his creative side with a Caribbean-Asian fusion menu.
